Black and White Minimalism

​

The apartment was designed for Antony Michaels and Robert Platt, a driven, enthusiatic couple. Due to their contrasting personalities the design needed to find apescts of their personalities which complemented each other and so worked togeather. This was found through Michael's love for Black and white photography which complimented Robert's love for all things minimalistic. The combination of these two aspects created a calm, clean and dynamic space as presented above seen in the imagery.

34 Degrees South Concept Space

​

"34 degrees South is the line of latitude running through Cape Town, it's also the line seperating good marketing from great marketing." ​
​The concept developed from the seperation of client and collegue, above and below advertising, and the seperation of Cape Town through the line of latitude.Thus ceating the concept of seperation seen in the use of colour, layout and palcement of functions.

New Urban Restrooms

New Urban Club is centralised in the ecliptic, wealthy hub of New Town, Johannesburg. The club has an interesting mix of industrial unfinished surfaces in relation to the clean, polished surfaces resulting in a vivid and dynamic interior. The aim of this bathroom was to bring the interior, atmosphere and mood of the club into the architecture of the bathroom.

Look & Listen Concept store

The Interior Design students were asked to develop a concept store which would tie in the the revamped look of Look & Listen. We created the slogan "Move to your Own Beat" which influenced the entire design, every element in the interior creates an illusion of movement, constant movement.
